I just wanted to throw something up here ASAP while I had the verve. I'm determined to find a way to play as a personality core from the Portal games in a way that feels natural and reasonably comprehensive. How feasible is something like this? For clarity's sake, that's a player model for the eye riding in a vehicle for the shell, which has controls for the hinges and pushing the eye forward. We will download a save or a haunted house or somethin we think we will be able to play like a new map and it will be tagged with "gm_construct" however when we start the game, only the 2 default maps show. I search all over and I see no place where these downloads appear or what I'm doing wrong? I've looked all over online and I see nothing - I don't even know if i'm using the right terminology. | Gmod is not getting optimal performance on a RTX 2060 Posted: 25 Dec 2020 03:44 PM PST Me and my friends have been playing Gmod lately, and my friend who has a GTX 1060 3GB and a Ryzen 5 5600x, and gets about ~260fps on gm_bigcity, while I got only ~115fps with my RTX 2060 and my Ryzen 5 3600 on gm_bigcity. Even before my friend got his 5600x, he still had way better fps than I did. I've checked task manager a couple times while Gmod was open, and I noticed my GPU was only using 1-3% utilization, while my CPU only uses 4%. Any solutions? Thanks in advance.
