I got my disk filled to 100% from a server Posted: 26 Dec 2020 04:14 PM PST This happened to me years ago but I never found an answer. So I was playing Garry's Mod and decided to join a vanilla sandbox server to have fun (you know those servers named Garry's Mod). So I joined and after some time playing with some other people my screen froze. I thought my game crashed but I realized it was my entire PC. The temperature was also increasing. I didn't have any option but to manually restart my PC from the case button. After it started again I opened up the Documents and the disk that Garry's Mod was located in had it's bar red because it was full. I was shocked. After doing some research in the GMod folders I discovered that the server somehow filled the data folder with junk .dat files. I deleted them all and everything was back to normal. Light bounce help Posted: 26 Dec 2020 10:13 PM PST Ive for the first time tried to use soft lamps and light bounce and got this result. What setting did I get wrong? Garry's Mod Validating Forever Posted: 26 Dec 2020 08:28 AM PST I uninstalled Garry's Mod a few weeks ago to make more room on my computer, but I decided to reinstall it to play again yesterday. For hours yesterday it finished downloading but was constantly saying "Validating" so I left it like that. This morning when I got on to play, it apparently finished "validating" but when I opened it, it said "mounting workshop content" for a while so I closed it.
