I remember this image being the main menu background when I first started playing gmod. I can't find anyone else who does and I have no idea which time period that was, because I can't find any info on the image... maybe 2006-2007? pre orange box? does anyone know anything about the image, which version of gmod it was on etc.?

Customize skins for TTT?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it was at all possible to make my own skins in gmod for the default ttt weapons, and have them exists as individual entities in my server that I can get and apply to my crate system where people can unbox them and use them. The way my case system works is it lets you add weapons like all the weapons in gmod, and you can trade them amongst players. With this concept I want to be able to trade guns with material/textures applied to them, like say shotgun_assimov.mdl as opposed to shotgun.mdl, so players can trade guns with the skins already applied on them. I was wondering if A) this was possible to make in gmod (re texturing guns) and B) if I would upload these guns to my server, would it be whole lot of extra downloads to take in?
