    I checked with my friend who has it working and it's exactly the same as his. I extracted it and dragged it into addons. For some reason, it still doesn't show it and in games it doesn't even detect it.

    im sorry if other people have posted this problem, but no matter how much i try solving the problem, i just can't talk in gmod, i have tried changing my input device in my pc's settings, ive tried changing the input and output device in steam itself, i go onto gmod and do the mic test thing and there is nothing changing on the meter. so at this point i have no idea what else i could do, is there a console command i could do? or is it something else entirely?

    Hey guys, need a bit of help. How do I fix blocky lighting like this on models? I've tried a few console commands, but none of them seem to help, or just make the shadows more grain-y.

    Garry's Mod completely breaks my PC

    If I start the game in fullscreen, my game freezes on the initial loading screen and I cannot exit the game. The only way to go back to my normal desktop is to restart my PC. I then attempted to start it in windowed mode. I had a slight bit of success the first time, but it shut down my PC's audio system and I had to force close the app. After that, the same problem as the first continued to happen. I have tried everything-- I have deleted local game files, completely uninstalled the game, and even uninstalled Steam itself. I have no idea where to go now. If anyone knows how to help, that would be great.

    Is there a way to port the map from one source game to another without using third party programs?

    I want to port some maps from G-mod, and some other Source titles, to another source based game (Kreedz Climbing). I tried copying the map files directly, but it ended up as just a bunch of purple and black missing texture squares.

    Is there a way I can do this that doesn't involve third party programs that could put my Steam account at risk? I'm quite paranoid about that sort of thing, and don't want to install anything that could get triggered by VAC as a malicious program.

    I know that porting maps is doable. For example, this one here.

    Issue with taunting in Prop Hunt

    When I try to taunt (in any server) it says Warning- Custom taunts are disabled in this server. However, I don't have any custom taunts, and I just want to use regular taunts in the server. All of my friends can taunt as normal in the same servers. Any help?
