Helpful tip about having a lot of addons! Posted: 04 Mar 2020 09:01 PM PST Don't have a lot of addons! I code for Garry's mod a lot, and have been around since the start. Having to many addons will start to F with your game. There is only so many names we can give things in our code we are bound to clash with another modders names. I have around 15 mods top. Posted: 04 Mar 2020 06:23 PM PST Hey guys, new server owner here, I keep having an issue where my clients will all crash at the same time with the following error- Client 0. Remove - [C]:-1 1. SafeRemoveEntity - lua/includes/util.lua:221 2. (null) - lua/includes/util.lua:232 It's an nZombies server (I know it's an outdated gamemode with its fair share of bugs) but I was wondering if there was some way to prevent these kinds of crashes from occurring. Gmod and macOS 10.15 Catalina Posted: 04 Mar 2020 04:25 AM PST As those of you who play on macOS noticed, recently there was an update to macOS that removed x86 support from the OS completely. One of the things affected is the Source engine, which Gmod happens to be based on. Thankfully, Facepunch thought about this well ahead of time and created a dedicated dev-branch to put the engine into an x64 mode that runs on 10.15. How to activate le x64: Open Steam Navigate to the Gmod listing in your library Right-click the game entry on the sidebar Switch to the BETAS tab Select x86-64 Allow game to download a few files Run game Note that the game seems to be a bit more unstable on this branch, and closing the lid (on MacBooks and variants only) can mute sound. Just downloading gmod what should I know as a noob Posted: 04 Mar 2020 07:03 AM PST I just started downloading gmod on both laptops, a MSI gs65 stealth and a late 2016 razer blade stealth, I'm at work right now but they should be done when I get back. I'm a complete newb to gmod but have over 500 hours on rust and countless days on osrs runescape. And been gaming and on pcs since I was like 4.
