Paint disappears in flashlight type lights Posted: 05 Mar 2020 08:19 PM PST ive seen this as part of source since i first got garrys mod, but recently its become quite the nuisance. if you dont know what i mean its in where you apply a prop with paint (blood, bullet holes, etc) and if you shine your flashlight on it or a spotlight, the paint disappears. recently ive been wondering if there was a way to disable this in anyway or if its just a part of the source engine that cant be removed [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 05 Mar 2020 07:45 PM PST I recently moved and I took care of my computer, then i noticed that i couldn't run maps that I used to be able to, or spawn as many props and NPC'S. I assumed it was my computer so i checked for viruses and checked the temperature of my computer since it's in a small confined space. All were fine. Then I ran tests on State of Decay and R6, They ran as smooth as they did before the move. I deleted 150 mods from my computer and turned down settings and it's still slow and under performing. Cannot connect to any Source game servers Posted: 05 Mar 2020 01:41 PM PST I have had this problem for a while in which i can join servers fine, but all of a sudden my computer just refuses to either find or join any servers. Its fine with any other game that does not run on the Source engine. Anyone know why it might be doing this? Help with keys being bond when not bond? Posted: 05 Mar 2020 11:11 AM PST My spray button is currently set to "t" but when I press it it drops whatever weapon I'm holding same with pressing the right arrow key. There's nothing in the options set to drop weapons nor is there even an option to bind that key in settings. I don't know what to do to stop it. [link] [comments] | ||
Infinity Stone Hunt Suggestions Posted: 05 Mar 2020 10:51 AM PST So my friend group and I have been doing this little fun gamemode where we scatter the infinity stones from the Infinity Gauntlet mod and go on a scavenger hunt to find them. We've used several different maps (mostly large rp maps with lots of good hiding spots), different hostile npcs (SCPs are great) as obstacles, and once we even had people battle it out with the stones they found. We're on our 4th hunt and I wanted to change it up a bit and inject some new gameplay mechanics and whatnot. We've just been using sandbox and spawning things in and playing around that. Any suggestions for fun addons or gameplay elements we could implement? [link] [comments] | ||
Help with setting up a simple server Posted: 05 Mar 2020 10:26 AM PST I've looked into making a proper standalone server and while it doesn't look too difficult, it looks time consuming and I just can't be bothered. So I want to use the built in peer-to-peer multiplayer built into the game, which works pretty nicely for private games. The problem is that I have a mod for TTT that has cvars that I want to change, however these obviously reset to the default values when I switch map. Is there a way to set the default cvar values of a workshop mod? I would really appreciate any help! [link] [comments] |
