    Crashes on certain maps (even ones that used to work perfectly), any ideas?

    I decided to redownload GMod again, probably been a year since I last played. Problem is, certain maps (such as every downtownrp map), even ones that used to run perfectly smoothly for me, now run at a consistent 1 to >1 frame per second. A good 30 seconds or so after loading the map, I get a "Lua Panic! Out of Memory" popup as it crashes to desktop. Oddly enough, pausing while loaded in immediately boosts the framerate back to 60fps, and unpausing back to >1. (Also note, other maps, whether they be official or addons, work just fine, same 60fps. And the maps that don't work for me, it doesn't seem to be affecting others, since servers using the maps are perfectly populated.)

    If anyone has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate them!

    How do I boost my fps?

    I have an i7-7700k and a 1080. When I am in online lobbies I get anywhere from 20-100fps. How do I get more fps. I can't stand stuttering every couple of seconds.

    Hi, I was just wondering if there was a fix/mod that fixes bullet holes on NPCs?

    Context: Whenever I shoot an NPC in the leg, or any other part on their body and then fire a shot that kills them, the shot that killed them's bullet decal is still there, but every other bullet decal I created disappears. It's kinda bothersome so I was wondering if there's a mod or something that fixes this issue. And yes, I know this game was made on the 2004 Source Engine, and yes, I know it's a mod of Half-Life 2 that uses the same engine.

    My Mic is broken... But only with gmod

    This has happened before I'm not sure what causes this but my mic works on discord and everything else but in gmod it is really quiet I need to shout to get 1 green bar on the mic test thing (yes the settings are maxed) does anyone know how to fix this. Also I have gmod on my task bar and when I press it, it says this: https://i.imgur.com/Q6lyY7Z.png (imgur link) does this have anything to do with. I open it with steam client like it says because I can't do it any other. My mic is broke in Gmod* (for title)
