    I gifted my friend Garry's mod and counter strike source but it keeps crashing when he tries to start up Garry's mod. He's tried installing both and reinstalling, restarting comp. Any other suggestions?

    2080 Ti

    32GB RAM

    game on SSD

    Keeps reaching ~300MB of memory usage before it goes

    Noob help

    I'm trying to play murder, TTT, Prop Hunt, etc with 6-10 of my friends. We're all new and just bought the game along with css. I've looked elsewhere for a guide and failed so I'll post the problems below. Please help me!!!

    For a frame of reference, this all occurred with me as host, in a private match with each other. We've mounted the CSS textures, and I make sure the right game mode is selected in the bottom right. I start a multiplayer game and they join.

    1. When running identical texture sources, when they join some of the maps they're missing some textures either in the map, or HUD that I'm not.

    2. Does everyone need the map/game types downloaded or will it automatically download when they join.

    3. I can taunt in the updated wolvins prophunt, but they can't bring up the taunt menu for themselves, and they get a message telling them custom taunting is disabled of something similar.

    4. Clues for murderer? How do I know which maps in the steam workshop have clues enabled?

    5. Haven't gotten to try TTT yet, but anything I should know?

    Hey, I am trying to put models I have made into Garry's Mod using source engine tools on Blender 2.8. No youtube tutorials seem to be updated enough for most people to follow like me. I have been trying to figure this out for days and would like it if someone can lend me a hand in doing this.

    Server, unable to join

    So I create a server just fine, even managed to get addons into and make it a TTT server. But when is was adding more or less the last mode collection, the server no longer appeared, I could tell it was running through start.bat just couldn't join it or find it. Tried joining through, tried getting s friends help, nothing. Anyway that's about if anyone needs any information il try my best to prove it. Thanks

    I wanted to play black mesa maps in gmod to create a scene but barney and other actors aren't working, it gives me this error:

    CSceneEntity GRD00_Door_PressButton_Scene unable to find actor named "GRD00_Door" like a hundred times.

    Enabling addons from addons folder.

    So, as I have begun to get into the realm of addon overflow, it of course is hard to keep track and I've unsubbed from all my addons on the workshop, however of course they stay in the addons folder. How do I get them to work in game? Just from the addons folder?
