    So I joined a server called sunrust and when I did, everyone was invisible unless I got kinda far from them or when the round ended. Same thing as a zombie I just see the bodies. Thanks.

    On 23 July, YouTube will automatically Private all Unlisted videos uploaded before 1 Jan. 2017, are there any old Unlisted Gmod videos that need to be archived and preserved?

    Greetings! I'm someone from the old Gmod/YTP era of the internet, and it pains me to see all of these memories be slowly lost to time.

    As the title of the post says, on 23 July, YouTube will automatically set all Unlisted (accessible only via-URL) videos uploaded before 1 January 2017 to Private, effectively removing them if the account has been abandoned by its owner, and in the case of old YouTube videos, original accounts being abandoned seems almost universal, Speedrunners are already worried about this for example, but this of course, the video game-related unlisted videos from pre-2016 YouTube are far from being the only part of internet history that will be gone.

    This is just a heads up for those who are unaware, do you know any unlisted Gmod videos that need to be preserved as soon as possible? or any Gmod/YTP/animation/game parody videos from that time period in general.

    The actual message of this post ends here! below is just some of my additional thoughts on the matter.

    I want to mention an example of a lost Gmod series from the late 2000s that I have never seen anyone else comment about it, it was called "The Gmod Retardation disease", it was one of the many Gmod Idiot Box clones that was common back then, it was not as popular as DasBoSchitt's videos, but it was very funny and memorable on its own way.

    If my memory is right, there were at least 5 videos of TGRD, but as it's sadly becoming common on the internet - they've all been removed, and unless someone has backed them up at some point, they're gone forever.

    However, unexpectedly and hopefully, 12 years ago(!) in 2009, back when stealing other people's game parody videos was common, one of these channels (probably a young kid) who stole Gmod videos uploaded the first episode of TGRD, thereby preserving it, I have made an offline backup of it just in case to be fully sure that it can be preserved.

    And not only that - 2 years ago, the creator of the TGRD series himself appeared on the comments section thanking this account for stealing his video 12 years ago, as he has lost his own archives of the videos he himself made (and probably his old channel), therefore some probable kid who over a decade ago used to steal Gmod videos has unintentionally created the only surviving archive of an obscure Gmod gem.

    Another example of such a thing, in 2008, there was a Machinima that I loved watching, it was named "Counter-Strike for Kids", but in 2019 Machinima shut down, and all of their videos were made private, but hopefully as an example of old channels who reuploaded internet videos, someone in July 2008 also preserved the CSFK video!

    Any addons that spawn npcs where you can't see them?

    I've been looking forever for a addon that spawns npcs where I can't see them and can't quite find one. I have used ZINV but that just spawns based on distance.

    does anybody remember that in 2013/2014 a guy was developing a bf4 styled base? (like the mw2019 one), i've always wandered what happened to that proyect bc it looked amazing, the animations of the weapons were really similar, it even had the alpha viewmodels from bf4, i wish he released it at the time but i think he got bored of being asked when the mod was coming out, i wanna know if somebody else remembers that mod that was never released.
