    Audio and Audio Input issue

    I need advise, why is it when I go to audio, press Speaker Configuration and switch over from 2 Speaker to Headphones WHICH btw I am using and I do hear sounds from them it's just I can't for some reason SPEAK but when I press headphones and press apply I LOSE ALL AUDIO AND AUDIO INPUT* it makes NO SENSE. Please for the love of god someone tell me what's going on here.

    I started playing gmod again after not playing for a year and my performance on some maps are considerably worse than what I am used to, I used to get 50-60FPS on most maps but now I'm barely getting like 20 fps, is there an explanation to this?

    Super fucking frustrated with these errors that are seemingly unrelated but idk if they are and I need help.

    Well, this is what is happening to me. After buying the game post-120 hours of playing it via Steam Share certain shit keeps happening that is pissing me off beyond anything.

    Certain particles are replaced with those Red X's, specifically NPCs from the DrGBase RE3 mod, DrGBase COD Zombies and DOOM/DOOM Eternal SWEPs

    Certain NPCs that have dynamic kill animations do not do the animations, my PM disappears with some blood FX and the NPC refuses to work after that. These I have seen in DrGBase RE2 Super Tyrant, and DrGBase Trevor Henderson.

    Certain blood textures disappear, giving the illusion of purple blood. Happens every now and then.

    My game crashes when certain things are spawned.

    I have already verified the integrity of the game files, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried playing without certain addons and played without the "particles" folder which gets rid of the red x's as well as fire FX and certain NPCs just break because of that.

    I am truly at the end of my wits here, help a fellow GModder out.

    EDIT SO YOU CAN MAYBE UNDERSTAND THIS BETTER:

    I TRIED TO HAVE A GAME SESSION WITH THE RE3 FLAMETHROWER NEMESIS AND THE RE2 IVY. PARTICLES FOLDER IS UNINSTALLED SO THE RED X'S ARE GONE FOR NOW: THIS IS THE CONSOLE LOG.
