    I need help from server owners!

    So I'm planning on making my own server. I've tried it before but after some troubles and not finding any solution I gave up. but I'm back and I really want this to work out and now I've ran into the same problem as last time. and it is with adding a custom map to my server. and from looking around it doesn't seem as I'm doing anything wrong. I got gmad extractor and extracted the map I wanted. I added it into my Garry's mod server folder, then maps and I went into my "start" batch file and change the default map to the map I wanted. but when I try starting my server I get this error:

    CModelLoader::Map_IsValid: 'maps/1944rpgtown_v1.bsp' is not a valid BSP file

    map load failed: 1944rpgtown_v1 not found or invalid

    The server is gone when I enter Garry's mod. So last time to make sure it wasn't that specific map that didn't work I tried other maps that I've played on from other server and those didn't work either. which means I'm doing something wrong. if anyone knows a solution please let me know. maybe there is a easier way of making a Garry mod server in 2021.

    How do you download TTT...?

    It is weird that I have to download TTT, but it won't lead me installing and then even tho I own CSS it had missing texture how can you actually install TTT?

    Custom Half Life 2 style maps

    I'm wondering if anyone knows of a server where I could fight with Half Life 2 bad guys in the style of the original game. I'm talking about semi-linear maps with bad guys placed along the way. I know I could make this myself but when I tell you I'm terrible at building in G-mod...anyone know of anything?

    My game won't open and last time I posted, no one cared to leave a suggestion or solution so can some one help? I have restarted Steam and my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled Gmod, and verified the integrity of game files.
