Portal 3? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 07:29 PM PST On Garrys mod I saw a new map on my Portal 2 section(I have the game) and when you go into it it spawns you in a aperture train. Played Half Life Source and Half Life 2 in co-op with friends and want to find more like that experience. Posted: 08 Nov 2020 11:19 AM PST Any cooperative campaign styled maps that can be played within Gmod? It has to be within Garry's Mod and not a separate app like Synergy of Sven Co-op as we use the VRmod for one of the players. Please help me Posted: 08 Nov 2020 05:13 AM PST Whenever I try to load a default map in Garry's mod, it loads all the way up to when its 3/4s done, with the tittle "loading resources" it then freezes so hard i have to reset it. Here is what I've tried Deleting all my map add-ons Restarting my computer x20 Uninstalling Gmod and redownloading it and all my non map mods (except for one map add-on) Using -autoconfig as a launch option Deleting the cfg file Just waiting (I waited 12 hours with no result, still the same screen) Validation of game files for Garry's mod, TF2, and both Portals. How do I find the rp_downtown_v2 ghost? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 10:19 AM PST I've recently heard that a ghost exists on the map rp_downtown_v2 (supposedly). Some rumors say that the creator of the map killed himself, or the creator of the map made a final update (which had the ghost) before killing himself. Personally, I think it's just an easter egg. I've tried exploring the map several times, recording while do so. I am yet to find an instance of this ghost, though. I’ve stepped away. Should I come back? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 08:48 AM PST Howdy all, I was once obsessed with Gmod and from 2014 through around 2019 I played it constantly. I have gained nearly 2,500 hours in game and enjoyed every minute of it. For about the past year and a half close to two years I stepped away from the game. I lost interest in the roleplay, many of the communities I loved shut down, and I was maturing. I moved to Arma 3 and have played there since but recently I haven't played on my PC much due to me planning to build a new rig and just normal life stuff, but i've considered coming back to the game. Is it worth it? Are there good RPs? I've always loved Halo, Star Wars, Clockwork WW2, and even enjoyed some Dark RP here and there. How's the community? Let me know! Looking for an old map! Posted: 08 Nov 2020 04:50 AM PST UPDATE, I FOUND IT, TS RP_ISLANDS LOL Hiya, I'm looking for an old map, it was 2 smallish island towns with the broken dock prop that were facing the opposite islands. They were quite spread out and it maybe took a minute to swim to the other islands, both islands had small towns and a few buildings (10-15) on each side, one side might've been slightly bigger I can't remember much of the map unfortunately. I think it was an rp_ map but it could be a gm_ map I think it was on 1-5 servers back in like 2009-2013, so it's quite niche and it wasn't too popular, I've tried searching for it but nothing is coming up.
