The best one I've found is this one https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1952801370, and while the teleporting is a great solution for time travel, I feel like there could something better. For starters, the effects. They're decent enough, but I feel some better, more accurate to the movies effects would do it justice, especially since this one just kind of explodes when it travels instead of leaving a flame trail.

As for Time Travel itself, I had an idea. What if it did something like you can do with the Sky Editor, and made it look like night time, and then cleared everything you'd spawned from the map, giving a sort of illusion that you'd traveled into the past? It wouldn't be perfect, but I think it'd be slightly better than teleporting.

Oh yeah and flight would be cool, but I think the thing people want most from a time machine is time travel, lol.

(Note: I have never made any Gmod addons in my life, and I have no idea how difficult it would be to pull something like this off)

EDIT: To clarify two things, 1. This was about a theoretical new addon, not about updating the one I linked. It should be free to become it's own thing, the teleporting is cool in it's own way. 2. The addon that I linked might not be a dead addon. It was last updated on April 23rd of this year, so it's possible it could still be updated to include stuff such as better effects and flight.

I'm trying to get my friends into Gmod and I'm trying to figure out what a small number of people (2-4) can do in a sandbox game that's fun. Not really feeling like going into public multiplayer too much, so what do you guys recommend?
