Missing textures / chrome textures turning pitch black? Black Albedo / No light? Posted: 19 May 2020 06:20 PM PDT Recently I came back upgrade my old couple of addons, and for some reason, some friends are getting black textures with textures that use some features like "$detail", "$phongexponenttexture" and "$phongexponenttexture", and any texture higher than 2048x2048 (with or without mipmap), like it there no VRAM to use. So tried force "-heapsize" flag with the game is running with Very High, dxlevel 90 to 100, already tried with console mat_dxlevel, no diferences at all.All textures share DXT1 for no alpha versions and DXT5 for alpha. most have flags: "hint DXT5" (when use), "Anisotropic", "Trilinear", "Point Sample", "Vextex Texture" (when there is a Albedo texture). also tested with RGBA8888, with "-force_vendor_id" and "-force_device_id" flag."-opengl" flag gets a spam of DX8 shaders (with alot of addons).I have tested on some diferent GPUs with this same issues: HD 2000, HD 3000, HD 4100, GTX630 ti, GTX960m, GTX1050 and others that i cant recall for now (all in Windows 10)I got to replicate this "bug" by running the game on my Linux (Mint 19.2) distro without Proton 4.11, no other addons or contents mount are used during all the tests. https://preview.redd.it/5u0hpnihntz41.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=5f30e76ea133afa28bcc5d6e89313ed8c37ee13a submitted by /u/DaviDebiddoGooz [link] [comments]

How do I edit the cvar of a gamemode when not running a dedicated server? Posted: 19 May 2020 05:54 PM PDT Hey all! I'm playing a workshop gamemode with just my friends, so instead of hosting a dedicated server I'm just launching the gamemode in peer to peer mode. However, there are a few console configs that I want to change permanently for the gamemode. The workshop page mentions having a cvar to edit, but I can't seem to find where it is. Problem with TTT Posted: 19 May 2020 09:49 AM PDT I only got the game the other day, so i dont know a lot of stuff. Sorry if its a stupid question So me and my friends have been playing a lot of TTT, but we've been using discord. We decided to use the in-game chat for a few games to get the effect of having dead people unable to talk. however, we quickly realised that the terrorist(s) cant be heard by other players. is this a bug? and if its a feature, is there a way to turn it off? like a console command or something? submitted by /u/Jimger149 [link] [comments]
