    Hey, I'm new to garry's mod. I'm trying to play with my cousin who is actually experienced at the game. I have zero addons from the steam workshop, and I have zero mods. In other words, the game is completely stock. I have 16 Gb of DDR4 memory in my PC along with a Ryzen 7 2700X and an RTX 2070 Super. So I know my PC is completely able to run the game. I load up the game, and within a few minutes on the freaking menu screen before I even load anything, the game crashes. I've tried changing my video settings, updating my graphics drivers, restarting the PC, and changing the launch options in steam. I am going to try a beta version because I read on a website that it may help, but I'm not sure. A few minutes ago I tried again and when it crashed it said "Not enough memory" which I know is absolute lies, I opened task manager and while the game was open it was at 60%, and I have 16 GB when the max requirements are like 8 GB of RAM. I just want to get the game to run, its very frustrating.

    Changing Other Peoples Player Models

    Ok, so I've been working on changing other peoples player models for quite a while with my friend and trying to change his player model with different addons and I can't seem to figure it out. I've been trying to change his player model to another player model, is it a specific type of addon I just can't find, and if not can someone help me and tell me HOW to change his model and keep his model saved without it changing?

    GMAD extractor not opening "larger" GMA files.

    I saw a post on this topic a while ago, but unfortunately there was no response, so I am hoping I will get lucky and someone can explain if there is any way to get around this problem.

    When attempting to extract the GMA file (596 MB) GMAD opens quickly and then the program closes, without extracting the file.

    How to spawn a entity above ground? (LUA)

    So I am making a entity and I couldn't find any solution how to make my entity spawn above ground.
    Currently it spawns half way in the ground.
    I am pretty new to lua and addon making, can somebody please help me with this I know this is not the Gmodlua subreddit but there is only 3 people online there.
