    Garrys mod is super nice physic manipulating tool that was natural place for peoples to build stuff. We all seen those crazy realistic vehicles , piston engines , aircrafts , just everything.

    But todays servers just ... lack it. There is no many building servers left , most of them are barren becouse newcomers arent even welcome. With the death of facepunch forum a lot of tutorials died with it , a lot of awesome builders left that game and there is no real big source of material to learn from. For me biggest problems are builders themself. They are seeing every thing they make as their child that they had to protect at all cost , no one can play with it and they will never show you how to do shit smilar to it. There is no people left who would tell you how to build , how to utilize expression 2 and all of that stuff. Even while its game ask for building inside it people just stopped doing it , they prefare to play some ttt , or guess who or prop hunt , they dont mind sandbox anymore becouse they dont see reson to mind it. Nearly every sandbox server today is just fuckton of anime playermodels , weapons and other means to kill eachoter. This community must open up , it must to say " hey guys , come visit us we will make some crazy shit togeter , dont worry if you dont know how , we will teach you " or it will just die. Only things that will be left are some public dupes overused by some cool kids on rp that knows how to utilize workshop and that will be it.

    TL;DR - if we want building in gmod to survive , we have to teach newcommers building , technicals etc. We have to let them use our dupes , toy with them etc. If we wouldnt do that. We will just grow up and we will left our shit to no one , lying on some old hard drive that wouldnt be used ever again

    Is it possible to download the map from a server with it's scripts?

    So, on a server that i play there's a map with a secret in it, i tried to solve it in sandbox but some of the key stuff for the quest are removed in the client version of the map. I was wondering if there was a way to get the version of the map that is on the server with everything in it.

    CW 2.0 question

    CW 2.0 is an add on which features customisable weaponry in case anyone doesn't know. Anyways, when you are using weapons like the AR-15, there is an option to move your sight/scope further or closer up the rail. Is there a particular way that is best to set this on?

    Also, it says that if you have the scope further down the rail it is better for long range fights and that if you have it closer up your rail it is better for close range, I disagree with this.

    There are a lot of missing mods/models whenever i join servers and i have all the source games so that's not a problem with the textures. How do you get all the things for a server and be able to play?
