How can i attach a prop to an npc efficiently? If not possible what are some good npc's like manhacks or rollermines that i can weld stuff too?

Doom/Hell-themed RP maps?

I've noticed that for all there's a ton of awesome maps on Gmod, there seems to be an almost total lack of any decent Doom and/or Hell-themed RP maps. The only decent one I could find was ctf_hellpower, and aside from that just a couple of tiny arena style maps. I was wondering if there are any larger, more open Hell-themed RP maps, or if anyone here was up for making one in the style of Doom 2016 or Doom 3? Thanks!

Workshop addon editing.

Hey, all.

I'm just getting into the GMod Workshop scene and wanted to know how I would be able to edit the playermodel I have. I re-textured a playermodel I found on the workshop and published it. There are only a couple of problems, though. The original playermodel name remains. (When you hold "C" and hover over the playermodel) and the preview image for the playermodel.

(Yes, I gave the original person credit and put a disclaimer stating that I only wanted to retexture it. I made sure everyone knew it wasn't plagiarism.)

Any and all help is appreciated. I will answer any remaining questions if needed.

So I just bought gmod today and the first time I opened it it did nothing then just now when I opened it it loaded the Facepunch loading screen then it went to a blue screen and didn't load or do anything just a blue screen. Help!!!

Where are the new GMA files after the update?

can you guys tell me were are now the new addons are located, I just downloaded some addons and and one of them have this bug in wich doesn't work and the only way to fix it is to delete the gma file and download the addon again, but now I can't find the gma files of the addons I download in the addons folder.They were located to another place or folder in the new update, do you know were they are?
