    but how big is rp_downtown really?

    We've all played on rp_downtown at least once. It's the most popular map after all (before it got replaced by the titsrp version but i digress). I set out to measure how big the map really is, to be exact i used the rp_downtown_v4c_v2 which was the most popular for a good, long while. But anyway, let's begin

    (I'll be using freedom units with ruff metric translations ok)

    To start i needed a reference, since all CSS characters have average features i presume that their ragdolls are about 6ft tall (since it's average height for a man). Barrels were about half a CSS ragdoll which in turn tells me that it's 3ft tall (roughly 1m). Now that i had a reference i could measure the map. I used a stacker tool to place barrels quickly and moved slightly to the sides when ubstructed by walls.

    With this i got that the map's width is 807ft (245.9m) And it's length 1,446ft (440.7m)

    With this i used an online calculator to obtain the squared size of the map which is: 1,166,922 ft² (108,410.60 m²) which in terms of bigger measurement scales should be about 0.041mi² (0.10km²)

    I've downloaded a workshop pack which has all of the stuff needed.

    I start a private game, and invite my friends, but we all spawn with a gravity gun and there's no role selection or anything.

    Am i missing a server config?

    I'm just wondering how i can play this game the way it's meant to be played with my friends.

    I Really Need Some Help Porting MC World To Gmod

    Dear gamers As the title sais, I really need some help porting a very important minecraft map into gmod.. I would really like to have it as good as the minecraft maps from the workshop, with features like good lighting, minecraft skybox and sun, block and/or ambient sounds, working doors (and even breakable windows if its possible -0-), but I tried my best for a week now, trying to port the map using sourcecraft, but with bad results, lots of errors, missing stuff etc. I know this software is pretty old, but for mc 1.12.2 is good enough for me. I want to create this map for my younger brother, who loves minecraft and gmod, since this map had a lot of history and has been a very important part of us, and I would really like to surprise him.

    I thought it was impossible to create one, but then I saw all of the minecraft maps that have been uploaded in the workshop... and this gave me hope. Recently I've found someone on fiverr who would port the map for 4 euros and I was pretty excited, but unfortunately he is not available anymore... So please, if anyone has an idea, dont hesitate to give your opinion.

    There used tp be this really sick gmod map in which you could go from planet to planet and explore them with a bit of a story line. Its since been removed from the workshop. Why?
