    Help with workshop maps on dedicated servers

    So as the title says I'm working on adding a map to my dedicated server. Just learning how to do it, as I host the server for my friends group.

    So far, I've added some stuff like a weapon for TTT, and I've gotten it to download the workshop content upon joining the server.

    The last thing I need to be able to do, is actually swap to the map. There is no bmp file, I don't know how to swap to the map, or put the map in the mapcycle if I don't have to bsp.

    I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 to run my server, and this is the only thing that's stumped me. I didn't see the guides mention anything.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    If your steam friends join you and you have addons disabled in the addons screen (or whatever it's called), do they have to download them?

    .bsp Gmod map to blender/unity?

    I'd like to do it myself, however I'm completely dumbfounded on how to export the .bsp (WITH TEXTURES) into a usable format for blender/unity. I know about Nem's Tools (Crafty) and can import the .bsp file, however for the life of me I can't figure out how to import the .vmt/.vtf textures. I realize that Crafty has to be able to find them, however I'm not sure how to have it properly set up so it can find them. The profile system confuses me. Has anyone imported any .bsp files with textures into blender/unity and can enlighten me on how you've done so?? OR would anyone just like me to send them the .bsp file/textures im talking about so they can make them into a usuable format themselves?

    Mic not getting picked up

    I press push to talk and the microphone icon shows up but there is no sound going out and nobody can hear me. It works for everything else even when I test in the audio menu it picks it up but not in any servers. Anyone know how to fix this?

    I need an inventory system!

    I own a StarWars RP Server and I really need an inventory system for it.

    I've seen inventory grids in Undead and Zephyr before, but I don't know where to find it. If anyone knows these mods/scripts please comment.

    Limits on obects in a scene / geometry instancing?

    Hi quick question -

    Does Garry's mod let you load like 100,000 of the same object without crashing / lagging?

    Just curious if it had geometry instancing so that there isn't really a huge performance penalty as long as all you've done is translated the object, resized it, put a different skin or color on it, or have it somewhere in an animation cycle.

    (So you could have like huge forests with dynamic trees and not have to bake those into a map)

    Quick question regarding cameras

    This is likely to be extremely UNlikely, but is there a way to view the angles from two cameras simultaneously, or be able to record footage from separate cameras?
