Do you like playing in servers or sandbox. Engine error (when joining server) Posted: 12 Jun 2021 03:48 AM PDT So this is my first time playing gmod in a while, I used to have it on my mac but mainly did singleplayer since multiplayer barely ever worked. I'm on a new pc that I just built recently and after reinstalling the game, playing on gm_construct for a bit and then going onto a swrp server it downloads all the workshop content fine, gets to the end (all lua files downloaded or whatever) and then crashes and gives me a thing that says "Engine error." There's no additional information, it just gives me a thing that's supposed to say 'OK' or something (it's a button) but it's just blank. I tried logging into the same server again and got the same thing. I had no mods loaded in single player at the time My specs are: Intel i7 9700k CPU Corsair Vengeance 32gb DDR4 RAM Samsung 970 evo 1tb m.2 nvme ssd No GPU yet (lol), this is probably what the issue is but i'm coming here in case it's something else. I'm still running everything fine on integrated graphics and I get no frame drops in single player (with and without mods) but some games like fallout 3 and SCP:SL i've noticed won't run on an integrated GPU submitted by /u/boiled_turnip [link] [comments]

need help finding a campaign map that I deleted from my addons a while ago Posted: 11 Jun 2021 07:04 PM PDT I will try to explain the map as best as I possibly can. I think it was called gm_city. you spawned in a box with building textures around you. there were about 3 metro cops to the right as soon as you walked out of the box. a metro cop would come over and explode the door. there were 4 dr Kleiner NPCs inside the room where the door would explode. the metro cops would shoot the Kleiner. there was a store with a man and a woman both sitting. the woman was sitting on a yellow armchair while the man was at a wooden table sleeping. there was also a man on the roof that would call the cops if you did something bad. if you walked down the road to the left you would arrive at a big tall building.
