    I downloaded Garry's mod through steam on an old desktop running windows 8. The desktop/monitor set up meets the minimum required specifications. But for some reason when I click on either "play" in steam or the desktop shortcut, I just get a plain blue screen, and then the screen closes… any help?

    Gmod drops to 20 Fps when I spawn 8 npcs

    Hello im very new to Gmod and pretty much enjoying it my only problem is that it lags a lot when i just spawn 8 npcs. I even tried moving them to different spots on the map and it still lags. Can someone help?

    My laptop specs are:

    Core: Intel i5

    Graphics: Nvidia MX330

    Ram: 12gb (8gb useable)

    Edit: Addons i have are:

    Modern Warfare Base (G3A3 + MW Pistols)

    ArccW (Tarkov Mp5)

    ArccW night vision addon

    THE FIX:

    Verify game files and dont give npcs addon weapons from workshop. I hope someone can find use for this [ Thank you UncleStalin for the help :) ]

    Looking for Animatable Fnaf models.

    So I'm just starting out animating on Gmod and I've been doing pretty good. I wanted to make a fnaf animation, but the models faces don't move whenever I use the Faceposer tool. Does anybody know any models that have posable faces that are accurate as well? If not is there another tool I need to use?

    I need some help.

    So i recently wanted to try out some gmod servers since i mainly play sandbox alone. So i did just that. Then after playing on some servers i live in europe and the only servers were russian ones where ppl only speak russian and they have like 100 gb of mods. Thats why i never join any russian servers in any source game lol. But back to the point. So after servers i went in singleplayer sandbox and the lights were broken. Like when i placed a light down i could only see the light on myself but not on the ground or anywhere else except on me and in the bulb. So around the light i couldnt see the light. I believe that some stupid server addon messed up my game. So i googled how to delete server addons. It said to go to the downloads folder then server and delete everything inside there. So i went into the folder and to my suprise.. THERE WAS NOTHING THERE!!! At this point im losing my mind. I have no clue what to do to fix this light problem. Any help is HIGHLY appreciated :D
