    Everytime i use gmod it configures my computer to make everything super small. I changed the resolution to native and the icons on gmod are too small! Help!! It used to be fine but once i downloaded VTF edit this happened. I cant take a picture because of the thing making my computer go wierd.

    Message to Server Operators Regarding NSFL Images in Game Chat

    Hello,

    To keep short, I've caught wind of a user or group of users going on many different servers pasting pornographic and NSFL images as URLs in game chat. These users evade bans with alternative accounts and evade IP bans with VPNs. The game server I work most closely with has been dealing with this problem for several months, and it has been a major disruption to players and community moderators.

    To help solve this problem, I have designed three addons: A slur blocker, a URL blocker, and a special character blocker.

    • The slur blocker will block chat messages that contain a certain word, such as a racial slur or anything else you want blocked: https://github.com/RussEfarmer/bad-word-slur-blocker
    • The URL blocker will block any chat messages containing a URL or IP address. This one is by far the most useful, and works extremely well. The addon includes a list of ALL top level domain names to match against: https://github.com/RussEfarmer/gmod-url-blocker
    • The special character blocker blocks any chat message that contains characters that are not punctuation, letters, numbers, or other ASCII symbols. This is a very intrusive addon because it may break color coding of the Hatschat 2 addon, and WILL break Lenny faces. This addon was written because this particular user has used a text corrupter website to bypass the URL filter, and while it's very hard to actually follow the URL because of corrupted characters, some may want to add it or use it anyway: https://github.com/RussEfarmer/gmod-special-character-blocker

    Please keep in mind that I am not a programmer by trade. I made these addons out of necessity to help my gaming community solve this problem, so I apologize if they are low quality, but I can assure you they are functional and are all compatible with each other. Installation directory is lua/autorun.

    My Second GMOD weapon, the "Hit or Miss"

    The Hit or Miss is a pistol that works in both Sandbox and TTT. When a bullet hits an entity, it randomly choose between dealing 50 damage or adding 50 health to that entity.
