    Server Operator Rules: Garry was fooled by a Child Predator

    Hi everyone.

    For people who may or may not know, there have been new server operator rules (there were none before) added to Gmod, basically if you dont follow them you can lose your server, get it blacklisted etc.

    A few days after this announcement, a known child predator/lurer on Gmod known as Dr.pepper10/Walter posted this.

    Providing evidence to support that he personally contacted Garry about a server named Begotten 3, claiming they did child r***, and had gore and other disgusting things that would make your head turn, though in his thread he provides no evidence. He says after this Server operator rules were added after this and there's a strong indictation that this is the case and what happended.

    The claims he's speaking about (The gore, the child stuff) actually happended on a similarly theme server called Industrial Nightmare 3 which is a homeage to Begotten's culture and lore but they take it to another messed up level, Drpepper's inability to differentiate has resulted in Begotten 3 being unfairly black listed on Gmod, other servers could follow suit.

    The irony of this all is that.. The claims he make are false (he never backs up these statements) furthermore Drpepper10 the user is a mentally ill/pedo/pedobaiter, there is exstentive documentation to support these claims against him here.

    Drpepper10 has done this in the past, with his 'lolcow' attitude whether by making outragous 4chan threads or making attention seeking threads like the on the Gmod discussion board and other sites.

    Make no mistake here, this isnt' a witch hunt against the user. This is a thread to inform the Gmod community that Drpepper10/Walter is maniuplating Garry and basically forced him to censor servers.

    What we need to do is get this thread to Garry so he has an informed opinion on what's going on, he's being played by this user and it's affecting all of us. It's hard to get in contact with Garry via discord currently hopefully this find itself his way soon because users are outraged, and Drpepper is practically flaunting this infront of everyone's faces.

    For those worried about the safety of Gmod users, for the most part he's banned from almost every Serious RP / TTT as he's very notorious but please exercise caution and do not hunt him down and harass him as this is what he craves and it's also against the reddit rules here.

    Hi,

    I have recently wanted a new multiplayer experience since my current multiplayer games are all basically the same. I just wanted to know if the game is still played enough for me to join servers with lots of people? I know Gmod has stuff like prop hunt, TTT, and RP servers. If I do get the game it would be my first time playing it. Also I would most likely be playing by myself since my friends don't have and probably don't want to get the game. So should I get Gmod?
