AVGN Scripted Weapon under new management! Posted: 04 Sep 2020 11:58 PM PDT Ello, r/gmod! Does anyone here remember the old Angry Video Game Nerd SWEP from 2008? I hope so :p In case you don't, here's a refresher: The AVGN Swep is a hilarious comedy SWEP featuring quotes from The Fuckin' Nerd himself! The Angry Video Game Nerd! Left click to swear a blue streak and unleash the Fury of The Nerd. Right click to throw Rolling Rocks at enemies that then FUCKING EXPLODE on contact. Reload to taunt and occasionally drop an exploding Atari 5200! Unfortunately, the mod itself has been out of commission since 2013 as far as I know. When you'd right click or reload, it'd throw an error in the console and not perform the corresponding action. The creator, Kliker (Klikerus?) seemingly abandoned the mod after GMod 13. Since I can't seem to track down the original author, I took it upon myself to fix it up and start adding onto it! So far there are at least 12 new sounds (technically 16 if you count the new rolling rock throw sounds and the new taunts from the initial workshop upload) that can play at random when you equip the weapon, attack, taunt, or toss your friends a beer with a friendly "thumbs up" :) Here's the link if you're interested! Stuttering every 5-10 seconds Posted: 04 Sep 2020 06:46 PM PDT My game stutters every 5-10 seconds. feels like it's freezing for a split second. My framerate is always at a smooth 75FPS (my monitor refresh rate). V-sync is disabled. My specs are: Ryzen 5 3600 AMD Rx570 16 GB Ram I also have Core Performance Boost set to off as i had high temperatures in some games with it enabled before hand. A long time ago someone made a Gmod YouTube show like big brother with CSS Counter terrorists vs terrorists. All 4 models of each team had their own personality and every episode they had to do some weird assignment. Does anybody know how to find this show in youtube?
