    Hey guys, i'm new to this subreddit and to reddit itself so i'm sorry if I broke some kind of rule by posting this, but I really need some help. English is not my first language, so I apologize in advance for any possible gramatical errors.

    Here's my problem:
    I was always able to play on this DarkRP server me and my friend usually go to but recently I couldn't find it anymore, the server is up and running and no one else seems to have the same problem I have. Me and the owner of the server ran innumerous connection tests together and we found no solution whatsoever, except using a VPN. Since I live in Brazil, I'm unable to afford a VPN due to the price (R$ to US$ is expensive) so I downloaded a free VPN called Tunnelbear. It worked fine for two weeks or so but when I tried joining the server a few days ago, I couldn't find it anymore neither connect to it.
    I can find it on the legacy browser, but the name is replaced by the IP of the server, there's 0/0 players online and the ping is 2000. I already tried connecting to the IP through the console but I just get the "Connection failed after 6 retries" message everytime.

    Here's the things I already tried:
    - Trying to find/join the server on my father's PC (which is also on the same router);
    - Verifying the integrity of the files;
    - Reinstalling Garry's Mod;
    - Restarting my PC;
    - Restarting my router;
    - Putting Garry's Mod as an exception on Firewall;
    - Setting Steam's Max Ping to a low value;
    - Joining my friend on the server through the friend list;
    - Removing everything from Steam except for the appdata folder and the Steam's .exe and starting Steam;
    - Putting all sorts of client ports on Garry's Mod launch options (27006, 27015, 27005 and 45142);
    - Renewing my public IPv4 adress;
    - Changing my DNS to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4).

    Although my internet connection is just fine and the server is online with people playing in it, I'm not able to find it on the server list, the old browser or connect to it's IP through the console...
    The weirdest thing is, when I borrowed my account to my friend so he could test if he can join the server, he had no problems whatsoever finding, joining and playing on the server.

    Looking for a Map to Recreate a Game in Gmod

    So i'm trying to recreate the Game, "My Summer Car" in Gmod, so i thought the best place to start was the Map. also the Map is pretty much going to determine if this is going to be possible to make in the first place.So what i'm looking for in a map - a large map that is about 90% forest with some towns, a house with an interior for the player and a few shops with interiors. so probably an RP map. So if anyone knows a map like this please let me know.

    Game constantly lagging

    My game is constantly lagging weather in-game or on the menu screen, It's like 6 fps. I'm pretty sure it's not my computer because I've had it for a couple of months now and I haven't lagged like this in gmod before. Please help

    Im stressed, should i leave youtube? Im not getting the attention i want, even though, I've put effort in my videos. Kitty0706, (R.I.P.) inspired me, but i cant go on without any attention from most of the gmod community. Ive been posting for on this subreddit for help, people gave the right answers at the right time, in every way, i tried, but im to much of an idiot to follow them. I just want to be like all the other gmod youtubers, and filmmakers. Am i just invisible in the steam community itself as a whole? I just want to be noticed. I keep a happy face on my camera, and in front of people, but when im desperate for help, i just wish Colin/Elliot was still alive for more parts of the garrys mod bible. Please, help me.
