    Trying to figure out about a Laser Disintegrator turret

    I used to play GMod eight or so years ago. Back then I used not many mods beyond Wiremod.

    I remember there was a massive Combine gun you could attach to props. Once it was activated, it would charge for a moment and then laser anything that was in front of it, disintegrating props and killing npcs/players. Whemever it hit something, it used the combine disintegrating animation.

    I used to develop hoverball shuttles amd then fight with these with friends, as a hit would disintegrate plates and hoverballs and the ship would just fall apart.

    But I cant find any such weapon anymore? Anyone knows what I'm talking about?

    I was at a friends house recently and had a blast playing on his computer and my birthday is coming up so I was thinking about getting a computer that can run Gmod but isn't too expensive.

    This issue recently started up for me. I'll be running or participating in an event on the server I co-own, and my gmod will just snap it's diabolical fingers and close. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling gmod and my addons two to three times now, and the game still happens. I've completely wiped everything from my addons folder as well and no luck. There's only one other person on the server with this issue. We think it's gotta be one of the addons in the pack, but we have no idea which one it is and testing which one it is would be a long and tedious procedure.

    Since no one else but us two is experiencing the problem it has become incredibly annoying when I'm talking to someone or doing something else and the game closes, and then no one else crashes.

    Microphone settings problem

    Whenever i try to deselect the option "boost microphone gain" and then click apply it wont work. it just stays selected and i cant deselect it anyone know how to?

    How do i enable Gib Persistance?

    Gibs are the small parts that come when you break something and also the fleshy parts in the disemberment/gore addons. How do i make these stay and not disapear after a few seconds?

    I want to play with my friend's addons (already downloaded) in singleplayer

    Title says it all, I played with my boyfriend sandbox gmod on a server created by him and downloaded all of his stuff but don't really know what I have to do if I want to play with them on my own too without him.
