How to get good with E2

I'd like to know how you get good with physics based E2 and things of that sort, but I find it hard to play around with the basic knowledge I have (and I definitely don't have much of that) so I'm kinda asking how to get good with E2 in general.

Out of Memory LUA Error/Crash

I've read so many guides on how to fix the problem. I've tried fiddling with heapsize, lowering my graphics, factory resetting garry's mod entirely, and yet the same problem persistently rears its ugly head.

I have 16 gigs of ram, and Task Monitor says Gmod is only using 2.7 gigs.

The server I am trying to join is for Black Mesa RP, and I've already downloaded a provided content pack off the steam workshop.

There are ~20 some other players on there who are not experiencing this problem, so it HAS to be something on my end.

All advice is appreciated. I really need the help.
