Where has this author and his addons gone? Posted: 22 Apr 2019 02:32 PM PDT I have a hobby where I pose military models, just for fun. One of my favorite addon authors is someone named "damik." He was polish and he made models of U.S. Marines and models of U.S. military vehicles. I stopped playing Gmod for a while in February and I came back today to find out that my scenes that I had made are all errors. I browse the workshop and look at my subscribed items and find none of his work. Did he delete all of his work and his profile? Did he get banned and does a ban delete your work? MY FIX FOR "[...] LUA FILES FROM THE SERVER..." / STUCK IN LOADING SCREEN Posted: 22 Apr 2019 09:12 AM PDT Okay! So, if you have never had the issue, this will probably serve no use to you. This bug occurs during the loading screen when lua files would normally start being downloaded. If you have the bug, you will see something to the effect of this during that time. ​ NOW, DO NOT REINSTALL, DO NOT FACTORY RESET, I HAVE FOUND A FIX. Simply open your console (shift + escape in the menu) and type net_maxroutable 1260 I also added that command to my garrysmod/cfg/network.cfg for good measure. ​ PLEASE SPREAD THIS TO STEAM DISCUSSIONS/FACEPUNCH, MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS ISSUE. submitted by /u/-bsnyde- [link] [comments]
